Shipping Policy
Effective Date: July 2026
Last Updated: July 2026
Moving Products with Responsibility
Every international shipment represents more than the movement of goods.
It represents the trust built between producers, buyers, logistics partners and the communities they serve.
LOGINOUT believes that efficient logistics are founded on transparency, clear responsibilities and reliable communication throughout every stage of the supply chain.
This Shipping Policy explains the principles that guide shipments coordinated through the LOGINOUT ecosystem and clarifies the respective responsibilities of buyers, suppliers and logistics partners.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, LOGINOUT acts as an international business platform and facilitator. Shipping contracts are normally concluded directly between the buyer, the supplier and the selected logistics providers.
Mandatory rights under applicable German and European law remain unaffected.

- Multimodal Transport
The selected transport method should reflect the characteristics of the product, delivery schedule, destination and commercial agreement.

International Commercial Terms (Incoterms®) published by the International Chamber of Commerce should be clearly defined before shipment.
Examples include:
- EXW
- FCA
- FOB

Buyers are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable import requirements, including:
- Customs duties
- Taxes
- Import licences
- Product registration
- Labelling requirements
- Food safety rules

- Packaging approval
- Pre-shipment verification
Inspection costs and procedures shall be agreed between the parties.
12. Transfer of Risk
The transfer of risk follows the applicable Incoterm agreed between buyer and supplier.
The agreed delivery terms should always be documented before shipment.
13. Cargo Insurance
International cargo insurance is strongly recommended.
Insurance responsibilities should be clearly defined according to:
- The selected Incoterm
- The commercial agreement
- The value of the shipment
- The transportation route
Where insurance is arranged independently, the contracting party should carefully review the scope and exclusions of the policy.
14. Shipment Tracking
Where tracking services are available, suppliers or logistics providers should provide shipment reference numbers to buyers.
Shipment tracking improves transparency but does not modify contractual responsibilities.
15. Delays
Delivery delays may occur due to:
- Weather conditions
- Customs inspections
- Port congestion
- Transportation disruptions
- Labour strikes
- Government restrictions
- Security incidents
- Force majeure events
LOGINOUT will make reasonable efforts to facilitate communication between the relevant parties whenever delays occur.
16. Receipt and Inspection
Upon delivery, buyers should inspect shipments without undue delay.
Where possible, buyers should:
- Verify quantities
- Check packaging
- Photograph visible damage
- Preserve transport documents
- Notify the carrier immediately
- Inform the supplier without unnecessary delay
Prompt documentation greatly assists the resolution of shipping issues.
17. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If products are damaged or appear to be lost during transport, buyers should first contact:
- The logistics provider
- The supplier
LOGINOUT may assist by facilitating communication and documentation where appropriate.
Unless LOGINOUT has expressly undertaken logistics responsibilities in writing, it cannot guarantee recovery, replacement or reimbursement for shipments managed by independent logistics providers.
18. Returns
Return conditions depend on:
- Applicable legislation
- Product category
- Commercial agreements
- Supplier policies
- Product condition
- Hygiene requirements
Certain products, including food products, customised goods and perishable products, may not be eligible for return except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

- Efficient route planning
- Reduced transport emissions
- Responsible packaging
- Consolidated shipments

Neither LOGINOUT nor the commercial parties shall be liable for delays resulting from events beyond their reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Armed conflicts
- Pandemics
- Government measures
- Port closures
- Strikes
- Infrastructure failures
- Cybersecurity incidents
- Export or import restrictions
Affected parties should inform one another as soon as reasonably practicable.
21. Limitation of Liability
Unless LOGINOUT expressly undertakes logistics responsibilities in writing, LOGINOUT acts solely as a business platform facilitating international trade.
Accordingly, LOGINOUT is not responsible for:
- Carrier performance
- Customs decisions
- Government restrictions
- Delivery delays
- Product deterioration during transport
- Freight loss
- Import refusals
- Independent contractual obligations between buyers and suppliers
Nothing in this Policy limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence or mandatory statutory obligations.
